Regulations governing the “Genève Région - Terre Avenir” label
Products bearing the label must be grown in the Geneva area and must be perceived by consumers as products of quality. “The Geneva area” signifies the Canton of Geneva and land straddling Franco-Swiss borders known as “zones franches”. An independent certification organism (oic-izs) will control products to ensure that they meet all criteria in accordance with EN 45011 norms.
