It is up to the individual producer if he or she wishes to adhere to the “Genève Région - Terre Avenir” label program.  If so, the first step is to return the application form to the technical commission governing the label.

All program adherents must respect the specifications of the label’s graphic design as outlined in the design manual.

Labels on products bearing the “Genève Région - Terre Avenir” quality mark must contain: name and address of the producer, type and method of production.

Application and certification procedures must be followed to the letter.

“Genève Région - Terre Avenir” regulations, approved on February 2, 2004 by the official working group on alimentary sovereignty, recognize five bodies in conjunction with the label:

1. an advisory council;

2. a technical commission;

3. a communication commission ;

4. a tasting commission (regulation, controle' ship , synthesis chip ) ;

5. an arbitration commission.

The day-to-day activities of these groups safeguard the label’s credibility. Our organogram.

The obligations of those adhering to the “Genève Région - Terre Avenir” label are set forth in a user agreement which also specifies duration of the contract, cancellation terms, and sanctions in the event of abuse.
